Beckham is going to be a big brother and we can't be more excited! I am due January 6th, so that makes me 14 weeks!!! They are going to be closer in age and that does make me a little nervous. (I think about 19 months!!!!) We are very thankful though for the blessing of bringing another child into our family.

One!

June 11th, Beckham turned one year old!!! I can't believe how quickly that first year went by for us. Beckham is such a big boy now. He started taking his first steps a couple weeks before his first birthday and is still working on getting the whole walking thing down. He has so much personality and we love him being a part of our little family. For his first birthday we decided on a pirate theme!

Pirate gear: bandanas, hats, and eye patches
Cute little pirate, Aubriella!

Food!

Beckham's mini cake
Digging in!

Thank you everyone that came! We had such a fun time getting together and visiting!

My Sweet Pea

My little sweet pea is not so little anymore. Beckham turns the big one in a week and a half!!!! I can't believe how fast time goes. I swear I was just holding my brand new baby.... Beckham is a lot of fun though. He took his first steps this week and seems rather intent on perfecting the art of walking. I have to really keep an eye on him now. He calls me "mama" and "say-ya" (Sarah). This is really funny to me. I guess all he hears people say is my name though. He is a very determined little boy! He likes to explore and get into everything!!!!! He hates being slowed down. Diaper changes and getting dressed are his two least favorite things! I had to change his diaper on a 4 hour flight and who knows what others were thinking with all the kicking, screaming, thrashing about and me singing twinkle twinkle and itsy bitsy spider trying to calm him down. Thus making the whole diaper changing process last 5 times longer. Side note: flying solo with a over active 11 month old = almost panic attack. I love my little buddy though. He has a smile that lights up a room and I'm so thankful I'm his mommy.
