A lot has happened in the month of April! Brian and I celebrated our one year anniversary April 10th! I can't believe how fast that first year went by! All I have to say is that I'm so happy to be married to such an amazing man. He treats we so well and is just the perfect man for me. It's funny how you think you love someone so much and then realize, as time goes by, how that love for them grows more and more. :)
For our anniversary, Brian had us stay at the Grand America Hotel for the weekend. (This is where we stayed right after we were married.) It was really nice to get away and stay in a nice room. Most of our apartment was packed up due to us getting ready for our summer move. Over the weekend, he surprised me with flowers and a necklace, we relaxed, went on hike, explored Park City and had a couple nice dinners. It was a wonderful anniversary weekend! Thank you Brian! :)
I do have to mention the above place though.... Bruges Waffles is located near Gateway Mall and if you have not experienced this yet....you need to!!! It was absolutely delicious! Enough where I would catch myself thinking about them days after and even had a dream about them. Maybe that is weird...or maybe I'm just pregnant. Haha. Seriously though, you have to try them.
April 14th we left for Raleigh, North Carolina! So, far I would have to say that I LOVE it here. Everyone is so friendly and it is so beautiful and GREEN! Brian and I are excited to be here and excited to see what summer adventures we will have. There is a lot that we would like to check out while we are here.
Me in front of the Raleigh Temple. (Brian trying to take a more creative picture. I was struggling with the face forward smile...I'm not photogenic!)
This is a demon bird at the temple. No joke...we heard the weirdest bird noises coming from a tree on the temple grounds. Next thing we know we are ducking as this bird is flying straight at us. Then turns around and makes another attempt. (Brian somehow caught this picture!) I don't know what we did to bother this bird so much?????
Here I am at 34 weeks. I know these belly pics are just gorgeous, but it's the best I can do right now. I'm finding that I have less and less to wear and I wonder how much more I am going to grow. I had my first doctor appointment out here in North Carolina and I was really pleased with the office. I was a little worried that I wouldn't find a doctor that I would like. At my first appointment they told me that I could possibly have him a little early. Maybe not though...we will see how things are going now that I will have weekly appointments. I have to admit, it got me a little anxious about making sure I'm ready for this little one to get here. I mean, we still need to figure out a name!!!!!
